3 Fantasy Football Sleepers Who Could Surprise in Week 5
Here’s three fantasy football sleepers who could surprise with better than anticipated fantasy points in Week 5.
Blake Bortles, quarterback, Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars have to be sick of losing and are playing at home against Steelers in Week 5. In order to attempt to keep up and possibly conquer their first win, Bortles will throw the rock tons. Wide Receiver Ace Sanders has been reactivated, and Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson will be Bortles go-to guys.
The Steelers rank in the middle in allowing yards and fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, with 1,038 yards and seven touchdowns so far over four weeks.
Bishop Sankey, running back, Tennessee Titans
The Cleveland Browns are allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. Sankey had his first NFL career touchdown last week. He’s certainly not someone to put in your lineup expecting RB1 numbers, but he makes a serviceable flex play under a sub-par backup quarterback this week. He might just surprise his fantasy owners with his second touchdown.

Brandin Cooks, wide receiver, New Orleans Saints
Cooks should light up the field this week at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Drew Brees plays amazing at home and should pass tons against a defense who allows the second-most fantasy points and touchdowns to wide receivers.
