49ers’ QB Colin Kaepernick Happy With WR Steve Johnson
It’s only been a few days, but San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback Colin Kaepernick is happy with his new wide receiver, Steve Johnson, whom the team traded for during the free agency.

Kaepernick had this to say about Johnson thus far in training camp, as reported by ESPN.
It was pretty easy. He’s another guy that’s easy to throw to because he creates so much separation. Very quick, very deceptive, and I’m happy he’s on our side of the ball.
Already sounding like he’s fitting in perfectly with his new team, Johnson gives Kaepernick an extra set of capable hands as he is slated to be the third receiver behind Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree.
Johnson is entering into his seventh year in the NFL, and it would be great to see him achieve a 1,000-plus yard season as he did with his former Buffalo Bills’ team during his 2010 through 2012 seasons.
For fantasy football fans, Johnson kind of muddies the playing field a bit, making one clear-cut No. 1 fantasy option a bit cloudy. It’s hard to say between Crabtree, Boldin and Johnson who will get the majority of the catches. Throw tight end Vernon Davis in there, and the passes get spread even more. Either way, Kaepernick will be in capable hands.
