Coach Marvin Lewis told reporters that Jones will be out for several weeks and that Jones needed to have a screw placed into his fifth metatarsal.
This is disappointing news for the Bengals’ up and coming young receiver, who in his second season with the Bengals had 712 yards on 51 catches and 10 touchdowns for 2013.
At this time, the exact period of time Jones will miss is speculated anywhere from a few to six weeks, or possibly more. Whether you want to draft him for fantasy football knowing he’ll be a bench warmer for some weeks to come is a difficult decision. Some leagues allow an IR spot, which is a great place to pick Jones for now if you feel you must experiment with him come mid-season.
Marvin Jones breaks a bone in his foot. Out close to a month. Mohammed Sanu is relevant again.

What Dr. Roto says – the name Mohammed Sanu suddenly has fantasy appeal. A.J. Green, of course, remains the Bengals No. 1 wide receiver, as well as a fantasy WR1.
