Own Browns’ Ben Tate? Make a Backup Plan
For those who drafted the injury-prone Cleveland Browns’ running back Ben Tate to their fantasy team, reality has already checked in, as you’ll need a backup plan due to his Week 1 knee sprain.

If you were able to get your hands on Isaiah Crowell, or already drafted Terrance West as a handcuff, you’ll need them for the next two to four weeks while Tate recovers from a reported knee sprain.
The positive is that Tate will not need surgery as reported by NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.
The 26-year-old Tate has a knack for getting injured, however it appears the Browns will be in capable hands with their rookie duo of Crowell, who scored twice and West who blazed past 100 yards on 16 carries. Due to the lack of quality receivers, look for both West, who should receive the better part of 60-40 carries split time with Crowell who should see most of the goal-line work.
