The Cincinnati Bengals have decided to stop practicing law as they have announced the release of running back, BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

With the emergence of rookie Jeremy Hill, it would appear the writing was on the wall for Green-Ellis, a six-year veteran of the NFL. In order to comply with the NFL mandated 53-man roster, Green-Ellis, who has spent his last two years with the Bengals got the chop after rushing for 1,850 yards and scoring 13 touchdowns for the team.
With the absence of Green-Ellis, second-year running back, Giovani Bernard gets a boost in fantasy value, as he’ll dominate the lead running back role with a dose of Jeremy Hill sprinkled throughout. And, with BJGE off the roster, Hill should certainly be drafted as a handcuff to Bernard, and could see big action should Bernard ever miss time.
If you haven’t drafted your fantasy football team yet, keep these roster adjustments in mind if you were planning target Bernard, who also plays a large role in the Bengals passing game as well. PPR Alert here.
Good news if you, like I, own Giovani Bernard in fantasy – the Bengals released the law firm.
