Apparently the Denver Broncos are done with kicker, Matt Prater, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

After eight seasons in Denver, 100 games, and a Pro Bowl, the Broncos part ways with the elite kicker. Brandon McManus has been filling in for Prater while he served his four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, and will now be the Broncos lead kicker going forward.

I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the NFL teams in need of a better kicker approached Prater. As long as he stays out of trouble, Prater gets the job done when it comes to those field goals. He currently has made 21 of 27 attempted field goals at 50-plus yards.

If you’re holding onto Prater for your fantasy football team, perhaps hang on to him a bit longer to see if he lands somewhere else.
