Detroit Lions’ Reggie Bush Finally May Return in Week 14
What seems like five years since we’ve seen Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush on the field has really been five long games. Week 14 finally looks like the week the Lions get their versatile pass-catching runner back into the mix.
According to head coach Jim Caldwell, he had this to say regarding Bush’s return via ESPN.com.
Looks good. I know he feels really good. When he feels really good, I feel good.
With three back-to-back days of practice, something bush hasn’t done since the beginning of November, it looks like he’ll be back in business to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday. As for Bush as a fantasy starter, he’s really lost his dazzle as a must-start he was back in the day, as he fights for touches with fellow backs Joique Bell and Theo Riddick. The Buccs rank in the middle of the pack against defending the run and have allowed 320 total yards and two rushing scores to opposing running backs over the last two games, making Bush purely a flex option at the most in Week 14.
So far this season, Bush has racked up 191 rushing yards on 53 carries and 169 receiving yards on 26 catches and only has one touchdown. Hmmm..Not exactly thrilling numbers, are they?
Reggie Bush says he's "100 percent healthy" and will play this week http://t.co/U12MXAHbPc
