Fantasy Football: Why You Need to Add Denard Robinson in Week 8
Surely on waiver wires everywhere is Jacksonville Jaguars running back Denard Robinson, who will be a top add by fantasy football players in Week 8.
After going off in Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns for 127 rushing yards on 22 carries and scoring a touchdown, Robinson rushed for more yardage than any player on the Jaguars has in two years.

With this production, how can the Jaguars not resume with Robinson as a starter moving forward? When asked if Robinson may earn the teams’ starting job, Coach Gus Bradley had this to report to the Florida Times-Union (via NFL.com).
Yeah, I think so. We’ll look at the film. He did a good job and we hope to get Toby (Gerhart) back.
The Jaguars need to face the facts. Gerhart is painfully slow, and he has less total season rushing yards (123) than Robinson racked up in one game. There really should be no questions here when it comes to an injury-prone Gerhart versus Robinson. Even if Gerhart resumes the starting duties, he’ll surely get hurt again, making Robinson a valuable investment and handcuff to pluck from the Week 8 waiver wire.
Running backs are dropping from injuries right and left, so when you see a gem like Robinson still around on waivers, it’s time to make the move.
