First 2014 Fantasy Football Mock Draft
This is the #First2014MockDraft I am participating in with some fantasy football experts from Twitter. It is a slow mock draft currently taking place.
I was sixth pick of 12 and we drafted 14 positions. Thanks to Dan Clasgens of Gets Sports Info for arranging the draft.
Round 1 Marshawn Lynch, RB
Round 2 Drew Brees, QB (why not? I usually don’t go quarterback in round 2, but this is a mock, so I’m experimenting)
Round 3 Alfred Morris, RB (no more Shanahan-agans)
Round 4 Wes Welker, WR (with Decker possibly out of the way, more opportunities could await)
Round 5 Anquan Boldin, WR (the veteran is solid and durable)
Round 6 Jordan Cameron, TE
Round 7 Danny Woodhead, RB
Round 8 Terrance Williams, WR (I see him like the Alshon Jeffery to Brandon Marshall this season – Miles Austin will phase out).
Round 9 Seattle Seahawks Defense (sure, why not snag the top defense here before anyone gets their hands on them)
Round 10 Brian Hartline, WR
Round 11 Marcus Lattimore, RB (I like him and I’m seeing him now that he is healthy being eased in as Gore slows down)
Round 12 Ace Sanders, WR (have been reading that the Jags may use him in a “Darren Sproles-like” capacity in 2014)
Round 13 Jay Cutler, QB (figure he makes a fairly reputable backup to Drew Brees)
Round 14 – Steven Hauschka, Kicker
