Jay Cutler will Resume Starting Role in Week 16
He’s baaaaacckk.. Meaning Chicago Bears’ quarterback, Jay Cutler, who will resume his starting role in Week 17 against the Minnesota Vikings.
In his brief starting appearance for the Chicago Bears, quarterback Jimmy Clausen suffered a concussion after taking a brutal helmet-to-helmet hit from Detroit Lions defense back, Ziggy Ansah in yesterday’s loss. In following NFL concussion protocol, Clausen will not be cleared in time to play in Week 17.
Not that it matters who is quarterbacking for the Bears, as they sweep their losing season out the door, Cutler will have one last-ditch effort to leave a positive lasting impression on a team who has completely lost their trust in him.
After the NFL’s highest-paid player returns to center stage in Week 17 to close out the season, we’ll have to see what the offseason holds in store for Cutler as far as his future with the Bears or another team goes.
