Jeremy Maclin Claims Eagles Would Have Been Beaten by Oakland Raiders
The Philadelphia Eagles played some terrible football yesterday as they took a stomping by the Green Bay Packers in a staggering 53-20 loss.
Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, who was clearly embarrassed by the horrific lost weighed in on the Eagles’ play yesterday to CSN.Philly (via CBSSports.com), stating..
It’s the National Football League, man. The way we played today, it wouldn’t matter if we played Oakland, who hasn’t won a game yet — they would have beat the hell out of us, too. We just didn’t play well.

That’s a pretty low-blow Maclin had for his team considering the Oakland Raiders have lost their last 16 games in a row. The Oakland Raiders sport the fourth-worst losing streak in the history of the NFL, so Maclin clearly is disgusted in the way things went down against Green Bay in Week 11.
Thankfully, the Eagles didn’t just play the Raiders because had they lost, they certainly don’t want to be that team which ends a major losing streak.
Hopefully Maclin and the Eagles will regroup when they host the Tennessee Titans in Week 12.
