Jones told this to reporters (via NFL.com).
He is 100 percent. He’s 100 percent. He’s just being real smart and sensitive about having come off the back surgery. He’s certainly not losing any ground from the standpoint of opening up against San Francisco (in Week 1).
Easing Romo, who had surgery to repair a herniated disc last December, back into action is the key. Week 1 will be a daunting matchup between the Cowboys and the 49ers defense, so hopefully Romo is truly 100 percent. If he goes down, we face doom with Brandon Weeden under center.
Fantasy football owners definitely want Romo to stay healthy. Can you imagine the drop in Dez Bryant’s value should Weeden bet throwing to him?
