In what Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh refers to as a “Quarterback Cage Match”, he and former San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback Colin Kaepernick will be reunited on June 20. Harbaugh is launching Michigan’s “Ann Arbor’s aerial assault” which is a training camp for high school quarterbacks grades nine through 12.
Along with Kaepernick in attendance, will be Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and new first overall draft pick, rookie Jameis Winston of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Also participating will be Michigan quarterback Elvis Grbac and Denard Robinson, a former Michigan quarterback now Jacksonville Jaguars’ running back. In addition to the players, quarterback guru Whitfield, Jr. and Michigan’s offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch will be part of this prestigious camp.
It’s been since 2010 that Harbaugh coached a college game, however, he’s making a splash debut into the 2015 by season leading this fancy quarterback training shindig. The students in attendance will have the opportunity to mingle and be mentored by some high-profile quarterbacks to say the least.
