The New England Patriots’ tight end Rob Gronkowski is making baby steps towards his NFL return, by practicing in some 11-on-11 and 7-on-7 drills with his team, as reported by Mike Reiss of ESPN (via NFL.com).

Quarterback Tom Brady tossed a bunch of balls to Gronkowski, however he wasn’t involved in any blocking plays. This is progress from last week’s report that had spectators seeing Gronk limping around, and favoring his right knee.

Gronkowski is not scheduled to play in the last preseason games, as the team is being extremely cautious when it comes to their multi-surgically repaired tight end.

Rob Gronkowski is a fabulous fantasy football option when healthy, however it you draft him, also draft a sturdy back up as odds are in my opinion, Gronk won’t complete an entire season.

We’ll see about this..
