Ravens' Steve Smith Promises "Blood and Guts" When He Plays Carolina It was a bitter departure when the Carolina Panthers cut ties with wide receiver Steve Smith after 13 seasons, and for that Smith promised "blood and guts everywhere" when the Ravens and Panthers meet up in their first matchup. Smith, had this to report to the Black and Blue Review (via NFL.com) about his soon-to-come first meeting with the Panthers..
Hey, if you (expletive) think I can't play, you're gonna find out in Week 4, (expletive)!Smith just might show is former team up, as he had a fabulous debut with the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 offering up 118 receiving yards and a touchdown, which came off of 15 targets. Currently Smith leads the NFL with those 15 targets. It would appear the 35-year-old still has it, and it will be a dramatic reunion to follow in Week 4 when the Panthers travel to Baltimore for this game.
