Richard Sherman Tells Reporter: “I don’t really answer preschool questions”

Already giving the press a dose of spiciness, Seattle Sehawks’ conerback Richard Sherman made it crystal clear that he doesn’t want to answer the <a href=”” title=”&quot;cornerback question&quot;” target=”_blank”>”cornerback question.”</a><!–more–>

The All-Pro corner skirted multiple questions concerning how he thinks he ranks to New England Patriots’ cornerback Darrelle Revis. Giving his honest in-your-face type of response, Sherman told a reporter at the Seahawks’ introductory press event

<blockquote>I don’t measure my game to anybody’s, so I don’t have a great answer for that question. I think my game measures up pretty well to myself.</blockquote>

Not pleased with Sherman’s vague response, the reporter persisted asking

<blockquote>Do you still think you’re the best corner in the league? You’ve said that before.</blockquote>

The reporter really should have dropped it after the first attempt, because <a href=”” title=”Sherman came back firing” target=”_blank”>Sherman came back firing</a> telling the reporter

<blockquote>I don’t really answer preschool questions, so you improve your line of questioning, and we’ll talk.</blockquote>

It sounds like it’s going to be a long week if you’re a reporter planning on getting any details out of Sherman other than his canned responses or sarcastic retorts. Whether Sherman cracks with the juicy answers reporters want or Marshawn Lynch even speaks with the press is anyone’s guess.
