San Francisco 49ers' Michael Crabtree Dealing With Calf Injury
San Francisco 49ers' wide receiver Michael Crabtree missed practice yesterday because of a nagging calf injury, as disclosed by the team in their mandated participation report.
This is the second leg injury Crabtree has experienced since the beginning of training camp. A hamstring injury kept Crabtree benched for 16 days in summer training camp, so here we go again.
At this time Crabtree's availability for their Week 1 game against Dallas is not known. If he does play, he's got a favorable fantasy matchup against Dallas' horrendous defense. However, with a calf injury, he could be limited which would put a dent into those juicy fantasy points. Have a backup ready as we wait to hear more on Crabtree's status as the week plays out.
