Emmitt Calls out DeMarco Murray’s fumbles on Twitter – Smith has had his fumbles too.
Should former Dallas Cowboys’ running back Emmitt Smith really call out DeMarco Murray via Twitter after he committed his fifth fumble of the season in Monday night’s loss against the Washington Redskins?

Despite the five fumbles, Murray is more than getting his job done for the Dallas Cowboys. Murray has an incredible 1,054 rushing yards over eight weeks and is tied with Texans’ running back, Arian Foster with seven rushing touchdowns. If Murray’s fumbles were hurting anyone would he really have this much yardage and the second highest fantasy points among his fellow running backs?
Part of the reason the Cowboys are 6-2 is because of Murray’s ability to score those touchdowns, especially against stiffer defenses like Seattle.
Murray had these comments to share with ESPN (via NFL.com) regarding his latest fumble.
I’m going to continue to play hard and fight for every inch. What happened, I’ve just got to just lock two hands on it. I’m going to continue to fight and run hard as I can to get us every inch and every yard I can, but I’ve just got to lock it up with two hands.
Does Smith not remember that out of his 15 NFL seasons (13 with Dallas and two with Arizona), he had six seasons with five or more fumbles. Obviously, Smith is a legend, but he did get there with some fumbles along the way.
