Sources Reporting Lions’ Calvin Johnson Will Play Week 4 Against the Jets
It sounds like fantasy football owners of Detroit Lions’ wide receiver, Calvin Johnson can count on placing their Megatron in their Week 4 fantasy lineups.
According to the New York Daily News, they had this to report on Johnson’s status..
WR Calvin Johnson (ankle) is questionable after practicing Friday for the first time all week, but he’s expected to play.
The Baltimore Sun also had some encouraging news regarding Megatron’s Week 4 status.
Fantasy owners who drafted Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson can rest easy: His ankle injury won’t keep him out of Week 4’s game against the New York Jets.
Remember everyone, this is Calvin Johnson we’re talking about here and he’s got a history of playing without fully practicing. Let’s hope for some of that fantasy magic between Johnson and Matthew Stafford this week as the Lions travel to face the Jets.
After three weeks, the Jets have allowed 722 passing yards and seven passing touchdowns to quarterbacks and the sixth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. I think Johnson and Stafford should be able to build on those numbers big-time on Sunday.
