Thursday Night Football Titans at Jaguars is Boring
Has Thursday Night Football really come to a boring, late-season matchup with the Tennessee Titans playing at the Jacksonville Jaguars? Both AFC South teams are 2-12, so wow, one team will be 3-12 and the other will be 2-13 after tonight’s game. Exciting or yawn?
This game between the two struggling teams should be the usual snooze-fest. The Jags rookie quarterback Blake Bortles will throw multiple picks, and the Titans’ quarterback, Charlie Whitehurst will get hurt, likely calling for Tennessee’s 10th-string quarterback to brush off the rust and fill in.
Toby Gerhart will run for about eight yards, Bishop Sankey will fumble, and whatever cheap daily fantasy football wide receiver you played for either team won’t catch any balls. So, if you played Nate Washington or Cecil shorts as a bargain play, you probably picked the wrong guy. The only guy worth starting in actual fantasy football lineups is the Titans’ tight end, Delanie Walker.
If I missed anything, let me know. Others are also not very thrilled with this lame Thursday Night Football game as you can see.
