Find Out What Tom Brady Says About His Status for Week 1
Quarterback Tom Brady of the New England Patriots missed practice Thursday and wound up on the team’s injury report for a calf injury, causing a brief dose of panic to set in to those who drafted him for their fantasy teams. Worry no more as Brady personally reported on his status for Week 1 against Miami during an interview with Jim Gray of Westwood One (via Boston.com).
Physically I had the day off, but I got a lot of extra film in. I got a lot of extra mental reps in and walk-throughs and such and I’ll be ready to go Sunday.

We all know if Brady were to miss a Week 1 season opener, it would take something more serious than a sore calf to hold him back. We’re talking about a guy who hasn’t missed a season start since 2008 when he tore his ACL. Start Brady in your fantasy lineups, and if Rob Gronkowski remains in throughout the game, get ready for the fantasy points to roll in against the Miami Dolphins.
With Gronk being back in the Patriots' starting lineup, i expect Tom Brady to have a field day with the Dolphins' secondary.
